The aim of this page is for me to be able to record how my fitness is improving with the help of measurable tests.
16/03/2011 - I took a lactate test on the treadmill today that predicts my anaerobic threshold is at 13.69km/h and my VO2 max is 53.8ml/min/kg. My heart rate at the start of the test was 60bpm (although my actual resting heart rate is probably much lower). My current marathon prediction according to the test results is 3 hours 21 minutes and 22 seconds.
11/08/2011 - I took a lactate test on the treadmill today that predicts my anaerobic threshold is at 14.25km/h and my VO2 max is 53.8ml/min/kg. My heart rate at the start of the test was 60bpm (although my actual resting heart rate is probably much lower). My current marathon prediction according to the test results is 3 hours 16 minutes and 39 seconds. I also took a body fat % test that reveals my body fat % is 14.8.
19/03/2012 - I am currently at the fittest I have probably ever been in my life. I took a lactate test on the treadmill today that predicts my anaerobic threshold is at 14.72km/h and my VO2 max is 58ml/min/kg. My heart rate at the start of the test was 48bpm (although my actual resting heart rate is probably much lower). My current marathon prediction according to the test results is 3 hours 4 minutes and 8 seconds. I also took a body fat % test that reveals my body fat % is 10.9.
